Included on this page are links to ongoing and past research projects in political science and public policy. The most recent project is a social network analysis oriented case study of neighborhood associations in post-Katrina New Orleans. I look at their relationships with one another, with city government (including elected officials and administrative agencies) along with non-profit and religious organizations. This piece was recently reworked per the request of an academic journal.
You can find my doctoral dissertation, meanwhile, at my research page. It concerns civic engagement in the development of a lower-income, predominantly black section of Mobile AL. The work was included in the March 2007 list of recommended scholarship in urban and suburban history by The Journal of American History.
